Kim's Black Belt Academy is truly a unique school. Grand Master Jon Chung Kim provides traditional Tae Kwon Do training.

Classes are taught by Grand Master Kim and his qualified black belt instructors.

Students learn kick, punches, self-defense, forms, strategy, discipline, and are given the opportunity to put these skills to the test through competition and tournaments.
Traditional Tae kwon do is the focus, but there are classes offered geared toward tournament and USTU style fighting.

Children are taught to use their minds as well as their bodies. Grand Mater Kim insists his younger students read and has instituted a summer reading campaign to ensure the children continue to read during the months of summer vacation. Students are also encouraged to bring in their school report cards and share their academic achievements with their instructors and peers.

Belts are not simply given out after a student trains for a period of time. After being selected for promotion, each student must pass a test to achieve the next level. This not only maintains a high standard within the school, but also provides the martial arts practitioner with a sense of accomplishment and pride.
